Things I don't want to forget

• Becky has just discovered the joy of going barefoot outside. She calls it "wearing her feet."
  
• Zack hugs Becky when she cries. Becky hugs Zack when he cries. Becky shares her treats with Zack of her own volition, and often the first thing she says when she's offered a treat is, "Can I give Zacky some?"
  
• Zack won't leave his socks on for more than 10 minutes. I don't even bother now if I don't need to put shoes on him.
  
• Becky will spontaneously apologize sometimes hours after the fact for giving me a hard time.
  
• Today I was getting worn out and very cranky. Becky made me a (pretend) cup of hot chocolate so I'd feel better.
  
• Zack is obsessed with a plastic bucket of sidewalk chalk when we're outside. Carries it around, won't let anyone take it from him, gets frustrated when he can't get it closed (but won't let us take chalk out of it so everything fits easily).
  
• Becky can walk all the way to school now (albeit very slowly).
  
• Becky likes to pretend that she's a dinosaur, that she's taking our picture, and that she's fishing with a pool noodle.
